Meditate: A great way to quiet the mind and release tension.
Be aware of your body: Learn to recognize where you hold tension in your body. Is your jaw clenched? Are your hands in fists? Can you turn your head with no pain? Are your shoulders tight? When you find the tension, breath into it and relax.
Take a walk: Connect with nature and breath in fresh air.
Get a massage: A great way to take care of yourself and be taken cared of at the same time.
Take a bath: A hot, soothing bubble bath. Remember to light wonderfully scented candles before you get into the tub to soak.
Get enough sleep: Sleep is a natural healer.
Eat healthy foods: Make yourself a delicious meal and taste every bite you eat.
Eat your favourite junk food: Once in a while it's okay and feels so good.
Do what brings you joy: Make a list of all the things that bring you joy and do at least one (if not more) each week.
Keep a journal: Take the time to write in your journal. Write about your wishes and all the things you feel hesitant to say out loud. Every night, before going to sleep, write down at least three things you are grateful for.
Take your time waking up: Before getting out of bed to start your day, stretch, take a deep breath and give thanks for another day.
